I shot steel plates today for the first time and I had an absolute blast, thank you lone stranger. I think this is something I would really enjoy but am having a really tough time finding any frangible lead ammo in my area, (north central ma/southern nh). Does anyone have a good dealer or know someone who does? Alot of guys that shoot cowboy action use the stuff. There is a match this weekend at Harvard, unfortunetly I don't have the living accomadations to re-load either. Oh ya, looking for 9mm mostly, maybe some .38, thanks.

Why do you want to use frangible?

It's safer when shooting steel. Less likely to have lead or jackets coming back at you as it really disintegrates on impact with steel. Sig's indoor range requires frangible for this reason.

Check police supply places in your area of interest.

LEOs are using more and more of this stuff due to short distances to backstop and desire to avoid getting hit by ricochets.
