Anyone know any deals on getting some frangible .40? Looking for about 800 rounds trying to find the least expensive way to pick some up bulk for training.

Hmmm...only have one box of my reloads in SF40-105 RHVF.
Have you contacted SinterFire for bulk rates? http://sinterfire.com/

Prvi Partizan is USA-hq'd in Stratford, CT. They don't do any sales there, but perhaps they can arrange something for you. http://www.trzusa.com/ or http://www.ppu-usa.com/
"TR & Z USA only sells wholesale. If you are
a wholesale distributor, please find our
contact info on our Contact Us Page"

Actually, it (PPU) doesn't list .40 S&W anywhere that I can see.
Another source might be RWS, especially now that they are in Florida and dealing with WMT (special order through your local Wal-Mart perhaps):

FWIW, their Old Saybrook, CT store actually sells CCI primers and some powders (Clays 4#, Red Dot 4# and Unique 1#) for reasonable prices. I attempted to contact them regarding ammo special orders, but, alas, no one will answer the phone!

If you need it for your depts own range or "trailer" this advise won't help much, but if you are going to some place like sig academy (or some of the others) they will often let you do straight trades of "good factory ammo" for the frangable they require in thier courses. Again may or may not apply in your situation, but may be worth a call to where ever you are going to see if they "trade"...
