That's the beauty of it. If nothing happens - or things get better, you can claim "time will tell." Hell, I look at the "Stonxsuck" thread. How many YEARS has that gone on??? The market is WAY beyond any claim of crashing. And even if it fell by 25% this year, it would still be WAY ahead of where it was back when the thread started.
As far as this "junket," I was listening to Freakanomics last week. Jessica (formerly Brian) Reidl. Bright, um, person. Said that Congressional bipartisan meetings are happening on budget issues but they DO NOT WANT IT GETTING OUT because "they are sleeping with the enemy" to a lot of constitichuntz.
Which is stupid.
I think this is the start of a new wave of politics to move back to center and become more sensible. Biden is a disaster for this country, but so is Trump.
Now, as far as the BurpFart article itself:
A group of people from DC come in and talk with Fox. Can't care. Talk with WSJ? I think that's great. The thing about the Journal is that it wants to talk to EVERYONE. Not just those who "agree" with them. Even better, they aren't going to side with a R policy or person if htey think they are all wet. Nor are they going to agree or disagree with a Dem based on who they are.
So a semi-bipartisan group comes to see the WSJ??? Seems like a worthy conversation. Not seeing hte problem here. Sensible people listening to politicians. And then they'll make thier call later. As they've always done.
