I think this could be a bug in the forum software.
Without logging in, go to the Dealers Classifieds and click on an ad with a picture. The Baby Browning or Remington 870 Express Mag will do.
The ads contain links to the pictures.
Click on one and the login pop-up is presented.
Close it and log in at the top of the page ('cause it's easier to continue to browse this way).
The picture links are now no longer links, just plain text.
If you start over from the top of the site and log in, then these pictures are included in the ad.
In my old IT days I'd call this a bug.
