I tried searching but came up dry.

Do form 20’s require to be printed and mailed in? On my computer I can’t edit some of the fields. Perhaps I’m missing something?

furthermore - who has done one recently? What’s the average wait time?

kindly,
Derek

You can fax (lol) or scan and e-mail the completed form.

"The form can be submitted via facsimile to the NFA Division at (304) 616-4501 or may be scanned and emailed to [email protected]"

I don't suppose that speeds up the process, does it? I emailed mine in a couple weeks ago.
I haven't done a same-time comparison, so no idea. It saves the time it takes for the mail to be delivered though!

Tag for interest. I’m moving to NH and close on the new house March 30th.

I’m hesitant to file anything until it’s 100% ours. I just don’t know what the timeframe is to get the form returned.

Worst case I could disassemble them or put a standard 16” upper on them and keep them in non-NFA configuration until I get approval.

Did you call them to find the form is approved?
Usually I received my approved forms approximately 5 days after approval.
