Pretty but I'd have to shoot it at least once.

Oh, my. Certificates signed by the man, himself.
Are you going to get more than one, Ray?
At that price its probably easier for me to fly to Russia and drink vodka with him for a while.
what is the price?
So they are using a stamped receiver and a Bulgarian mag?? probably recycled plywood stock too.
Not that it doesn't have a very high cool factor, but doesn't that go against the whole idea of an AK? I thought the appeal was the rugged, utilitarian features of an AK.

something like that is not what the AK love is for me. Im hung up on the utilitarian, non sexy, ease of manufacture and lack of any training to figure out how to use it,fix it,build it.
AK to be stored in the field, washed in a muddle puddle and lubed with baccon fat...and helga can shoot that thing.
I always chuckle when I see the wooden vertical grips. They look like they were built in a high school woodshop class.
don't tell that to Romanians, they would impale you. I used to laugh too, but those grips actually grow on you. I like them a lot, but looks can be better, I agree.
And just think... many years later it was seen on AR rifles.
Not all that many years either. This picture or a Delta Force member was taken in the late 1960's. Notice the CAR15 with the vertical fore grip.

Don't know the price but you have to put in an application to get a chance at getting one. Considering the MSRPs price on Arsenal's 74s is just under $1000, I'm sure these are probably at least $4000.
