For Sale: The Ultimate Ham Radio Flea Market & SHTF Vehicle

It's nice but a lot of unnecessary truck to house a few radio positions. Can't drive it off road either.

Personally I'd rather an all wheel drive, multi fuel military 5 ton with a shelter on the back like we used in the army circa 1978-79.

At least one of these things shows up pretty regularly at NEAR-Fest.

And there was a guy with one at Hamvention in the asphalt lot
when it was held in Dayton at the Hara hockey arena.

Even though overnighting was absolutely forbidden,
I don't think he'd drive off to a motel.
He'd leave the rear door open during the day
and you could see rumpled bedclothes in the transverse bunk
at the forward end of the shelter.
I suspect he'd stay parked and at close of business
he'd just button up tight and stay there ever night.

As long as he had a piss jug and grabbed dinner
before the vendors closed for the night, it's plausible.
If he wore headphones, he might have been hamming it up like a maniac
overnight and the rent-a-cops prowling the flea market wouldn't have a clue.
