For Harvard Sportsmen's Club members - would you be interested in pin shoots at HSC?

What is your level of interest?

At a meeting some months back, Committe Chair Gerry Wood had asked about interest in getting pin shoots started at HSC. I talked to him earlier this week and found out that only 5-6 people indicated they were interested or would help out. I also found out that this was put only on the Harvard Sportsmen's forum and NOT on NES. I offered to help him a bit and put this out to the HSC members who read NES but not the HSC forum.

Would you be interested if we had pin shoots at Harvard?

Would you be interested in helping - in setup (bringing out tables and pins to wherever we're holding this), running (running the line, setting up the relays (or whatever you call each group of 8 that shoots in a single elimination style)), clean up (putting tables away, throwing out dead pins), etc?

Please - this is for HSC members only at first; I believe that Gerry would like to see if we have the interest in our club first before we open it up to the public (although I will urge him to do so from the beginning, which is why there is option 3).

I've offered to help Gerry because I'd like to see more pin shoots around - they're just plain fun.

I am interested but as Jar stated time is the question. I am spread thin myself but this is something I could make time for :) I can volunteer to help run it also.

Don't know when it would be yet - Gerry is pretty stretched thin until October, so I'm thinking we wouldn't start them until October, and I guess we'd just have to look at the calendar and see when we can fit them in. I think he's leaning towards once a month on some weekend so far. My thought when I was talking to him is to see if we can fit it in on the indoor range so we're not trotting through snow and mud during the winter, but as I said, I'm not in charge and I'm just helping him out.
