Flash hider vs. no flash hider

Can anyone provide us with a range report on the FSC556 yet as far as the noise factor goes? Also, where did you get your barrel threaded? I'm in SE MA if anyone can suggest somewhere local that I don't have to ship/mail somewhere. Does Santurri, Derr, or ZHA do this?

I should have my rifle back next with the FSC556 on it. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to test it out for a while since I'm still not a member of a rifle range.
