First HK acquired: HK 45 compact

Cold weather carry (OWB) P2000SK. Also have P30 ( my wife's favorite pistol). Have thought about 45. Justification would be already have the ammo, for 1911s... But I don't really shoot those. I just like having them.

Good reason to like, since wrapping your fingers around a 1911 is like slipping your feet into your most comfortable old slippers on a cold evening!

V3 detent plate (removes the safety function and creates decocker only)

that being said I found the HK45c extremely awkward to shoot. Grip lacks texture. Recoil impulse strangely heavy. I still have a 45c but have since done an LEM conversion on it…not sure why since I never shoot it.

Clarification for @Soundwave in response to the frowny face.... I do really like the 1911s... Not sure why I don't shoot them more often... Maybe it's that all my "working guns" are 9mm, none in 1911 platform.
Maybe I'll try to put them back in rotation.... Early Remington R1 (serial # in the hundreds)...I know people shit on them but although trigger is mushy, otherwise it's a much tighter gun than it's price. Other one is an early PC Commander two tone with black and orange grips... Super tight gun with a very light trigger. Might my only safe queen.
