“The Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office and the Alliance Police Department are working closely together," said Philip Lukens, Alliance Police Chief. "We have verified with the FBI, no federal agencies are seeking firearms. We take these allegations seriously and want to caution the public to always reach out to their local law enforcement agency for verification before ever turning over firearms. Organized crime groups purport themselves in various facets to illegally obtain firearms to further commit crimes. It is our sincere desire to keep firearms in the hands of responsible citizens. Should anyone come to your residence or contact you regarding your firearms please contact the police immediately.”

Boy, I didn't need to read any more than that to know that this was NOT in Massachusetts
Our leaders here in Massachusetts are just trying to protect us from shooting some innocent criminal, or make sure we don't buy a Glock and shoot ourselves. [mg]

No, you have it wrong...the DPRM's Rulers only want guns in the hands of responsible citizens of the Collective....not deplorable individuals.

Sure! They care about us................

By saying that a Glock made 20 years ago is "safe" but one produced last week is NOT!

Lets see what they say when the PD tries to take someones firearms and that guy tells them to hold up for a confirmation.

PD don't like being told what to do.

One the one hand,
does "Box Butte County" sound to anyone here
like the kind of place that is willing to execute
gun confiscation orders issued by flatlanders?

On the other hand,
imagine that distant day when
The Man rolls up on some Box Butte County ranch to confiscate guns,
and finds out to their chagrin that the subject
has already fine-tuned their Nope Technique
based upon what happened to the scammers
who tried to pull that ragtime back in '21.
