‘When a patriot stands up for the 2a community it is a great thing’
Jerry Wayne, a Michigan autoworker who was recently thrust into the political spotlight after getting into it with Democrat presidential frontrunner Joe Biden, was gifted a new rifle on Wednesday.

Wayne has become a hero of Second Amendment supporters after he stood his ground while questioning Biden even when the former vice president called him a liar and threatened to fight him.

Just days later, a Michigan firearms manufacturer reached out to Wayne to present him with a custom rifle featuring artwork mocking the Biden encounter.
“AR-14,” is inscribed on the side of the rifle along with a silhouette of Biden saying, “You’re full of shit!”

Biden told Wayne he was “full of shit” and referred to AR-15s as AR-14s in the viral confrontation video.

The magazine reads “100 Round Clip Magazine,” which is also mocking a bonehead Biden quote from 2019.

The manufacturer, Next Level Armament, wrote, “When a patriot stands up for the 2a community it is a great thing, especially when he’s from the great state of Michigan. But when Jerry Wayne got all up in Joe Biden’s feels, we decided we needed to get him taken care of. Next Level Armament AR-14 edition AR-15 lasered up by @armoryvalentine for our boy. Luckily he was able to make time to stop by for a visit and we were able to present this build to him!”

Nice! Setting a trend for all manufacturers to realize their customers are their strengths!
Agreed! Unfortunately some gun manufacturers like Colt haven’t realized this. Since they have government contracts they have basically snubbed their nose at their civilian markets. Colt makes some great guns including the m16 but not a 2A friendly company.

Yep even though I was a huge Colt fan boy, they can suck a wet one after that last move! I'm all about shopping where my loyalty is valued . Kind of hard to find in the firearms industry these days. Spending more with S&W lately and not so sure that is in my best interests.

I've shot Colt M4's for almost 20 years now. They've always gone 'bang' (or bangbangbangbang depending on fun switch), considering my round count, the few failures are few and far between. All of them were either magazines or lack of maintenance on my part. But there are any number of rifles out there that are better quality and cheaper. I've hardly ever heard of a truly 'crap' AR that was reasonably built.

Lucky guy! Living in MA and working in Cambridge and Boston, I can only imagine what would happen if I got into such a public exchange and my name was leaked to the press. I would be called into the office by HR, handed a small box to collect my personal items from my desk and escorted to the parking lot with box in hand and my severance check in my shirt pocket. Salary and all fringe benefits, including health insurance for my family, a thing of the past.

Then keep a low profile.

No comment on Colt quality, just that historically they havent really cared about the 2A or consumer markets as their main market was military. Colt would never do something like the above post.

AR 14 not on ban list. Group buy?
Depends on what gun store you buy from. AR10 isnt on the list either but i can't find a gun store in MA that will sell me one. Anything AR is banned in MA now even a bolt action(AR31). For no reason and no express law other than the gun stores are afraid.

Colt prices had come way down in the last year before they quit the civilian business, at least that was my impression when I saw them pop up in the $750 ballpark. For that $$ I'd certainly buy a colt if I wanted that style of AR.
