I have a low value O/U shotty "in the white" - original owner stripped it for refinish - never finished it...

I'm thinking Cerakote or similar just to protect the metal. I have a source for that.

Anyone have a suggestion for a re-blue source?

Thanks

Not sure if blue is going to be cost effective . Honestly depends on the actual condition of the metal. Blue looks like shit with pitting and scratches.
Depending on the actual shotty and value
if it's a functioning POS I would be tempted to hit it with a rattle can of decent spray paint.
I used 3 m self etching primer on several rusty 22s then commercial grade rust olyem black
I have a friend who used this on a few old beaters and looks good for a DIY

Rustblue gunsmith in Natick is good for blue and shotguns in general
