Yeah I can picture the non free state 10RD mag like 1.5 inches tall. Just enough to get one finger around it with a pinky extension.

MagGuts replaces the stock spring and follower with their own. Their follower is metal and lower profile, allowing room for the extra round. You keep the stock floor plate, mag body and spring retainer. Ghost Inc. would likely make a mag extension.

Easy upgrade, no doubt. The biggest bitch on the G 42 mags is getting the base plates off. They're not like other Glock mags.

They are only a few years late to the game. But they have enough fan boys that its probably a good marketing plan for them.

I wont be buying one. The mid size frame carries just fine

I'm pretty happy with my G26. Can't really see the need for a single stack unless you have really small hands. The 26 conceals very easily and shoots beautifully.
