I searched and did not find any definitive posts that take the FBI
crime statistics and breakout rifles/pistols/suicide/etc numbers/percentages.

what I would like to do is produce a business card sized printout of
the fbi numbers, example < 2% of homicides related to rifles, 11% knives
etc.

and then at the bottom of the business card sized document
add WWW.FBI.GOV as the source.

If anyone has produced something like the above, let me know if not
perhaps we can put together such a document to hand out at the
upcoming battles.

who knows if we can come up with the above we can mass produce for
national distribution

Using any of the FBI stats, you'll find that rifles are used in ~2% of firearm homicides, but that is as far as the breakdown goes, i.e., it's not listed by type of rifle.

right...they do not go that granular. only differentiate between rifle and shotgun. good start though

I would bet though that an AR15 is used in less than 1% of total firearm homicides, but the MSM is still going to focus on the black rifle.

I think better after a night of sleep, how about on the back side of the card a list
of good guys with guns and number of lives NOT lost

and possible number of suicides or killed by police by gun type to reduce the total numbers

if I remember correctly this is quite high
