FA-10 Question

Is it recommended to send it in via certified mail/return receipt requested or just first class mail? I see in the FA-10 sticky they recommend just first class mail but how do you know if they get it and what if it gets lost? Sure I have a copy but in this state...

No need....don't be worrying too much about it send it first class.

It's a good idea to keep records on your end for aquisitions and dispositions....if something gets lost in the mail you have no control over that.

There is nothing in the law that states you must get a reciept for the mailing.

Regular first class is fine. Your only legal responsibility is to mail it, it's not your problem if it gets lost in the mail, someone at FRB spills coffee on it, etc. Just mail it as required by law and keep your copy as proof of submission.
