I'm sure that he is just spewing out figures he ordered manipulated to make it sound like our country is the worst. even if we were, and clearly we are not, but if we were we actually have more firearms per person than most other countries. So for them to even be close to us tells you gun control or gun bans do not work. The anti's are just too stupid to acknowledge this.

I wish all mass shootings or shooting in general could be stopped. But that is just not reality. So everyone should train and train some more and be prepared to engage and defend themselves if need be.

It sucks these things happen but the gun free zones allow these things to have so many fatalities. Can't say nobody would be killed in a situation such as this past one but of somebody was shooting back it may have saved a life or two.

Lott is an excellent writer. As this article shows, he makes concise points backed up by logic and evidence. Compare that with the tortured, inarticulate reasoning of his academic nemeses like David Hemenway.
