Essential arms Pre-ban J-15

Hello guys, Not sure if this is the right section to post this in but I had a quick question for all you experts out there. I’m looking at buying an essential arms J 15 Pre Ban 16 inch semi automatic 5.56 rifle. I wanted to know does anybody have any experience with how the takedown pins and pivot pins are? Are they going to be a problem any and all information you guys have would be much appreciated thank you.

They made a very good lower I have had one for many years,and it's just the standard take down pins.

Mine is a cast lower but from all accounts they are good quality ones. I believe the same ones that Bushmaster used back then. Standard takedown pins.

I used to have a preban j15 lower. Was small pin, so no issue using with a multitude of other uppers. It is some Preban colts that had large take down pins. You should be gtg
