So, I would like a little information. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and purchase myself one.

It will be going on my AK. What model would you suggest? I'd like to keep it under $300 IF possible.

I dont think eotech makes one under 300.00, unless you find a good used one......Be careful, there are a lot of counterfeits out there...... If it sounds too good to be true it probably is......JMO

You can often find a decent used one for $300 or a little less. That being said, I'd consider an Aimpoint. Just switched from an eotech and I couldn't be happier.
