Eotech Battery Compartment

Any tips for sliding the battery compartment off the base? Feels like it's welded on.

UPDATE: Found a couple of references on the interweb about using a flat head screw driver to pry the battery case open. Using extreme caution I did so successfully. The key words here are extreme caution so as to avoid damaging the waterproof gasket that seals along the edge.

Anyway, this is the solution if you happen upon a new eotech with a tough battery compartment.
