And of course first post back is accompanied by a much-too-large picture of something not firearm related.
Aloha from Hawaii...!

Old, fat Elvis? No, no, no. I prefer the young Elvis who had Ann Margret in " Roustabout" and " Viva Las Vegas". That's how I like to remember the King. Welcome back.

Welcome back, enbloc!
Thanks Cindy!

I'm hearing that enbloc is back in the building, but the posts are from all you guys, as well as Miss minininjer of course. So where is that s.o.b. anyway?
Hey! I've been humpin' your ammo up the line...!

There. That should bring up the "Gun Count" in this General thread...
Lol, Missed you guys... and all you girls!

SIKE. He's probably gonna come back on from time to time to say "I'm back" and then bail for another month and then come back again to read all of the hilarity in this thread
Aloha from Hawaii...!

Thanks Cindy!

And why do they always have to go UP the hill? Why does every Colonel want the top of a hill?
One Time At Boy Scout Meeting,
a senior yout (a "Green Bar") was supposed to
instruct the troop on Map and Compass.

Instead, he got a chalkboard and sketched out
how to defend a hill against the Cong
using three concentric circles of command-detonated claymores
ringing the base of the hill.

(It took me years to realize he must have had some ROTC under his belt).

I already knew how to use Map and Compass,
so it was a net win for me.

Hope those other guys have all straggled in from
the cross-country hike by now.
