I have never gone to one of these matches.
Is the prone 20 shot at 300yds?

EIC / CMP Leg Matches
50 rnd CMP Course of fire. No Sighters, shooters must start rapid fire strings from standing.

Standing, 200 yds., slow-fire (10 shots in 10 minutes)
Sitting or kneeling, 200 yds., rapid-fire (10 shots in 60 seconds)
Prone, 300 yds., rapid-fire (10 shots in 70 seconds)
Prone, slow-fire, (20 shots in 20 minutes)

Mike,

For the rapids instead of the comand... on the line shooters "stand by" the command will be on the line "shooters stand".

You will have to get out of position and stand up.

Next command will be... With 2 rounds on a closed bolt, LOAD

With your bolt closed you will insert your 2 round mag ( after you insert it give it a good smack on the bottom to make sure it's fully seated )

The next commands are the same.
"Is the line ready, ready on the right, ready on the left all ready on the firing line. You may move into position and fire when your targets appear.

You will drop into position and once on the ground in position you cycle the charging handle to chamber the 1st round then clean the target as usuall.

Other than that the only difference is no sighters all day.

Try to get on relay 2 or relay 3 so you can see it ran thru once before you do it if you want to.

See ya there!
