I am trying to find some good books on edible plants and wild flowers. I own the Forager's Harvest and the Lost Book of Herbal Remedies. Problem with these books is there is no easy way to look up a plant that you find while walking. You literally have to thumb through every page in hopes of finding the plant you are attempting to identify.

I like the PlantNet app. I find it to be very accurate most of the time, esp if you search leaf and bark and flower.
I know, it's not a book but when you are in the field, well, you already said it.
Technology is your friend, use it.

And if you like videos check out "cooking with Mrs. G". She's in central mass and offers classes all the time.
