Normal at home EDC’s.

DCA8F586-60BB-4E4D-8D86-8D71842FFDCA.jpeg

Regular rotation between all with the Kershaw Leek and CRKT Ripple seeing slightly less use than the Benchmade mini Griptilian, Ontario RAT II, and Spyderco Delica 4.

Limit carry of the Buck 721 (don’t like), SOG Twitch II (too small) and Benchmade Tenacious (too big).

Work EDC

Required to carry a knife. Sees a lot of abuse. Broke the Esee Zancudo, so now use the Gerber Swagger AO, which was issued.

The Victorinox Cadet is always kept in a pocket also. The tools see more use than the knife blade.

Travel EDC

Stateside;
Sanmenru 710 and CRKT M16-01KZ
Both cheap so I don’t mind if I lose. The Sanmenru is carried 90+% of the time. I actually quite like.

Out of country; Victorinox Pioneer. Lots of countries have restrictions on folders (like one handed opening prohibited) so this fits pretty much everywhere I go. Also, the bottle opener sees tons of use. The can opener has also came in handy.

Morakniv Light my Fire edition or Ontario RAT 3. Also have a Morakniv Companion that stayed in my car always.

[laugh] That’s my letter opener. I make sure I don’t open it into anything (ask drgrant about that )964A0FFA-6D8F-436A-BFDF-1DE0A4CFC444.jpeg

I carry the ZT 0220 a lot because it’s a beast and is lighter than it looks. Combine that with that deep carry clip and it’s one of my favorite blades.

On other days I carry one of the “blemished” Kershaws, the Leek (middle). Small, deploys fast , and is sharp enough for most of my work.

I still need to buy that ZT 0450. Ugh.

Happy to see so many active users I recognize. Thanks for the welcome. Finally upgraded my daily from Spyderco to Microtech when I moved up to NH

Soooo any interest in a full-on EDC thread? As in everything you carry on the daily? Or am I the only EDC nerd here?:emoji_eyeglasses:
If your EDC includes a Knife, why not?
Pix can give others ideas on what they never thought of including in their Carry.
Start a thread!

Benchmade Mel Pardue

Love this little knife. Had another (lost or stolen) and ordered a new one same day I liked it so much.

G-10 grips, super light, thin as only 2 strands of 550 cord and sharp as can be. It’s so small and light you forget it’s even there.

Everyday is the Benchmade 910 Stryker - and I posted a pic of it earlier.

Here's a pic of the blade that lives on the bike; I've had this for at least 30 years.
I've got a simple leather sheath for it, which makes me think that I could probably make a kydex sheath for it pretty easily...

Its pure functionality has always appealed to me.

IMG_4275.JPG I've made good use over the years with this Shrade multi, the other one I just carry in June each year as a sentimental jesture to honor my grandfather who left me his knives. It's an Olsen and I've always liked the rosewood / brass folders!
