Nasty stuff. I recall that the DEP was stopping rats from being exterminated by dry ice. Dry ice evaporates into CO2 but it's OK for wildlife to be poisoned by Warfarin.

I found an owl sitting in the middle of the main road into an industrial park a couple years back. Just sitting there. I stopped my truck ans got out and it was alive....breathing and moving its head around to follow me as I walked around it but just sitting there. I got some gloves and put it in a box and called animal control. They came and took it and my phone number because I asked them to let me know what happened. Got a call later in the day that it was rat poison from eating poisoned rodents and they euthanized it.

Hold up.

They tested and found 80% of DEAD eagles had D-Con in them.

Ok, what % is in the LIVE eagles???? Was D-Con the proximate cause of death or just in their system??? What were the levels????

So little data to determine if we should be outraged or not.
