Drug deaths are up to a record high of 47,000.

    http://www.foodworldnews.com/articles/62648/20151211/drug-overdose-deaths-increase-7.htm

and the New York Times is calling for less punishment for users:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/11/23/opinion/cut-sentences-for-low-level-drug-crimes.html

    http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2015/11/24/why-punish-drug-users-at-all/

    http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.co...alizing-drugs-when-treatment-replaces-prison/

Meanwhile, the firearm homicide rate is dropping and yet "Certain kinds of weapons... and certain kinds of ammunition, must be outlawed for civilian ownership."

Interesting how the liberal media reaction for the same problem (death) is so different depending on the cause.

You are totally wrong, there are not deaths from drugs because they are banned and that solved the entire problem, which is why banning guns and there will be no crime or gun deaths!

    There's a difference....

Addicts need drugs, gun people don't need guns! Duh!

When drugs are outlawed only outlaws will have drugs.

That is exactly what my liberal son said as he explained why he voted for Obama twice and why we need to get rid of evil guns

There are not calling the knife attack (was it yesterday) a terrorist attack even though the perp was carrying an ISIS flag

    Ban pressure cookers, knives....

You guys got it all wrong. Knives were meant to cut, guns were meant to kill. No one needs an assault weapon with multiautomatic capability and 30 round magazine clips.

I dunno, Ben. Turning it in to the BPD for a $100 gift card to Star Market sounds like a mighty good deal [lol]

Oh yes Al, in FA ( Firearms Anonymous ), we have a 12 step program,
rather we had a 12 step program. After the Assault Weapons Ban we
had to change it to a 10 step program, unless the program is pre-1994,
then you are legally permitted to have a high capacity step program.

I heard in FA they also have slogans like "Uzi Does It", "One Clip at a Time", and "Remember Rem..."
