Drug deaths are up to a record high of 47,000.

and the New York Times is calling for less punishment for users:

[/URL]Meanwhile, the firearm homicide rate is dropping and yet "Certain kinds of weapons... and certain kinds of ammunition, must be outlawed for civilian ownership."

Interesting how the liberal media reaction for the same problem (death) is so different depending on the cause.

You are totally wrong, there are not deaths from drugs because they are banned and that solved the entire problem, which is why banning guns and there will be no crime or gun deaths!

You guys got it all wrong. Knives were meant to cut, guns were meant to kill. No one needs an assault weapon with multiautomatic capability and 30 round magazine clips.

Do we have meetings?

Oh yes Al, in FA ( Firearms Anonymous ), we have a 12 step program,
rather we had a 12 step program. After the Assault Weapons Ban we
had to change it to a 10 step program, unless the program is pre-1994,
then you are legally permitted to have a high capacity step program.
