Study was flawed -- apples to oranges b/c they didn't use a porcelain phone...

That's not a flaw, it's reality. Phones are not made out of porcelain. When the dust settles the toilet is cleaner. It probably also helps that (most) toilets are cleaned on a regular basis, almost nobody ever cleans a telephone.

Strangely enough flushed toilets are actually probably cleaner than a lot of other things. I think some college students swabbed for bacteria on a flushed toilet vs a desk telephone, and the telephone was far worse.
