I would never celebrate a man who at every turn voted to send people to die for no reason and destroy freedom. This man is not a hero. Patriot Act? Afghanistan? Iraq?

This man was not a great American. He was a disaster for everything this country was supposed to be.
Agree, good riddance!

JFC, the man just died of brain cancer! I don’t care much for liberal Democrats either, but FFS, I’m not going to celebrate the brain cancer death of an American that DID spend his life in the service of our country just because I really don’t like how he did it!
I will!! And so will many others.

RIP, I hope his family can finally have some peace, he was on the way out for way too long. On the other hand, I am glad he is finally not in any power anymore and hope someone more deserving gets his seat.

Being a career politician for 30+ years is not spending a life in service to ones country. Hi did serve his country admirably, for a few years 50something years ago. He milked every bit of that for his own personal benefit since. He is owed nothing.

134, dead. But hey my dad wasn't an admiral.
I was being lazy and wanted to hear your version.
I was three years old then so I wasn't there.

Seems to be several different versions of the event with JM's culpability being debunked. But who the hell knows...

Hate to see a vet go, but I love to see McCain leave.

I respect his service, but even when he was a pilot he wasn't without fault as he nearly burned down the Forestall. He was a POW for years, many others in Vietnam were, but McCain is special because he was getting connected politically in the Senate in the late 70s and used that political capital to get elected to the House in the 80s and he's been fooling Arizona and America ever since.

But the last 10 years he hasn't fooled anyone. When the chips were down for the real conservatives to stand up under Obama and to support Trump, McCain and other fake Republicans failed the litmus test and were exposed to be Diet Socialists. Maybe not hardcore Marxists like Mad Maxine or Bernie Sanders, but definitely not freedom loving Constitution types.

Need anymore proof of John McCain's failure as a man? Look at his stupid daugther. With Ivanka Trump, you can blame it on her surroundings, but with Meghan McCain, given she was raised in Arizona, there's no excuse for her being such a brain dead Millennial other than her father, Catholicism, and 4 years of college at Columbia.

RIP, he served, he also was a cranky old man who hated the current President. Best to his family but his distractions are over now.

People had a love/hate view. Those who knew him, hated him. Those who believed the mth or had blood ties, loved him.
You can bet that the restaurant servers that he and Dead Ted molested are glad he won;t be down for breakfast, lunch , or dinner again.

Let's not forget that in 2014 McCain went to Ukraine and stirred up the masses and had the audacity to say America was with them when in reality most of America had no idea what was going on. The result of Ukraine's deposing of their then duly elected president was the swift destruction of Russia and America's relations.

And he admitted he pushed the Steele dossier to the FBI, which is what started this whole Russian collusion lie.

Pioneer Valley, surrounded by liberals..ie hell
He did serve so there are mixed feelings there.. The Hanoi Hilton was no joke BUT for a different perspective on what happened I suggest you read American Patriot about Colonel Bud Day. He served with McCain and had some strong opinions about him.

His RINO politics did suck so...our only hope is to get a strong candidate to replace that seat.

If you really think he started a fire on his carrier, then I have a bridge to sell you.

Edit- removed second quoted post, don’t know how I did that.
Firstly, he IS likely to have done that and it got buried by his daddy the admiral. Secondly, he turned traitor while a POW and got other men killed. After that he killed efforts to find and save our MIA POW's that he KNEW were still out there. He should have been executed in the 1970's for his actions while he "Served" and was barely saved from that by a last minute pardon brought to you again by daddy the admiral.

Cancer is terrible, and I will never wish that on anyone. But I will not mourn a useless traitor who milked his nonexistant "Service" to the country to stay in power and screw us at every turn.
