You be the one to call Tank a Hillbilly. He's too damned big for me to do it.

Hey, there's nothing wrong from that. I was born in Louisville, KY. Grew up outside of New Orleans, LA. Finished High School in Memphis, TN. And went to College at Ole Miss.

If that ain't a southern boy, I don't know what is... I have many friends that you Yankees would think are Hillbillies. :D :D

Just kidding on the Yankee thing... :D

C-Pher, my wife has family in Arkansas, and grew up there. Was there last month, for a week.

Tank IS from Maine, so, he is relatively a hillbilly, but he's more like a Woodchuck than a Hillbilly.

Besides, he's too damned big to argue with. His name didn't come from being in an Armor unit (he's in Field Arty). It's because he's as big as a Tank.

ETA - THe wife is NOT a Redneck, nor am I. We're both now old Rock n Rollers.

I was born in Maine but raised in the city. Let me just say that I can relate with Tank if what you say is true. Something is just in the water here in Maine. Noone could ever understand why I was so big. My mother is from Europe (Country not to be named) and is barely hitting 5 feet tall and my father is from Philadelphia and just barely hits 6 feet. I'm 6'4" with a frame that doctors can't place me in.

My mother jokes that I used to think flintstones vitamins were candy and used to eat a bottle a day. Then again............maybe I did?
