What's the difference whether you carry or not? The only thing that ever mattered to me is whether it was my choice!
You are absolutely right!
Every responsible adult ought to have that choice. What they do with it should be strictly up to them.

You are not going to prison for violating a restriction on your otherwise valid LTC.
M.G.L. c.140 s.131
A violation of a restriction imposed by the licensing authority under the provisions of this paragraph shall be cause for suspension or revocation and shall, unless otherwise provided, be punished by a fine of not less than $1,000 nor more than $10,000.
I never carry anymore, I used to, especially when I was stationed down south, but now it's such a hassle. Plus, I live and work in an area that I don't feel the need, perhaps if my AO was in another location I might carry more.
Too be honest, I'm more afraid of the idiots who are carrying that do not know how to use what they are carrying then I am someone robbing me or something like that.
Overall, I am glad that I have the ability to carry or not.
How many times have you ever heard of an idiot who was concealed carrying improperly using their firearm and doing something other than shooting themselves in the foot? If a law abiding citizen (trained or not) is a bigger concern to you than criminals you might wanna take a step back and re-evaluate your priorities...
Wow, that's an overwhelming body of evidence. Of the 13 listed 4 were LEOs, 1 was a pilot, 1 was an instructor, 1 was not even a handgun/CCW incident, and 6 "regular" people. Of the 6 regular people only 3 are mentioned as having a license. 8 took place in 2010, 2 in '09, 2 in '08 and 1 in '04. All this out of how many people who carry every day, including LEOs? Overwhelming. Here you go, DickWanner - a few recent examples of the many that I could have selected in my ten minutes of Googling...
I reevaluating how safe I feel around law abiding citizens who say it's their right to carry, think they know what they are doing, but can't follow simple firearms safety rules.
I know where these people lived, and I am certain they didn't feel the need either as their neighborhood is one of the best in Wichita. Yet evil showed up anyway.I live and work in an area that I don't feel the need, perhaps if my AO was in another location I might carry more.
And I know there are plenty of criminals out there doing much, much worse. But these people below are law abiding citizens; I shouldn't have to worry about that many law abiding citizens having AD or ND's. It happens all over the country, every day. It is scary, and sad.

How come when a poster says they don’t wear their seatbelt no one cares, and then when a poster says they don’t carry a gun the Earth flips off its axis?

No one cares here, but over on the Northeast Vehicular Safety Devices forum, people get really pissy about such things.
Awesome
oh yeah the "find a new job guys" can KMA too because i'm NOT a virgin and have been in fist fights.
Why don't you come inside and have some pancakes
Congatulations, you can use google. You also happened to include 3 examples of LEOs who are NOT citizens carrying guns, a pilot, and the fricken infamous DEA agent. Not sure if those were intentional or you just didn't proof read. Still doesn't support your position that there are a ton of 'idiot Rambos' out there who are a legitimate danger to you.
