Doe Permits

Ma wildlife has a list of chances pending on the zone you choose zone 11 was a 100% chance while I think 4a was only 19% all pending on there deer per acre ratio for the given area

Thanks for posting the numbers. It is interesting to see how hunting has shifted in this state. Just a few short years ago I used to be able to get a left-over doe permit for Zone 8 over the counter; now the odds are down to 66%.

Good for 9.
And I like the on-line check-in for deer and turkey but I do think their numbers are going to be way off.
Not sure when they go on-line for deer check, need to go back and look.

Wow that is a big difference, same thing in zone 7, we used to be able to get multiples here too.

I think that it is a combination of doe permit numbers being decreased and hunters shifting toward the "eastern" part of the state. Some of the public ground that I hunt in zone 8 has definitely seen an increase in hunters over the last few years.
