Have a 25ft pole that I fly an American Flag and a US Navy Flag directly underneath it. They are up 24/7/365 and is lighted at night. Also at half staff right now.

House mount 3'x5' lighted. Wife gave the okay for a flagpole, but I'm still looking for the right one. Don;t want a cheapo one that could get taken down by our constant winds (we are on the water) and I don;t feel like playing reveille and taps every day.

The one I have is a cheapie polyester one from Amazon. 1776 United makes a really nice t-shirt version of it, too. Wore it when I went to vote, and it's the designated tax day shirt.

If you ever want to see the original flag, it's currently displayed in the bar area of the Century Inn in Scenery Hill, PA. It was one of the only things they managed to save from the fire they had a few years ago.

I don't have a flag pole in my yard so my flag doesn't get flown often. My wife, girlfriend at the time got my flag for me. I had wanted one for a very long time that was flown over our nations capital but being the procrastinator I am I never wrote to my representative in congress. Luckily she is a very different person then I am for such things. She wrote to her rep Patrick Kennedy of all people. and low and behold one year under the Christmas tree was my flag.

It goes on display for Memorial day

Then the rest of the time it's on display in our living room

A high quality American Flag is a great house-warming gift.

Oh, I also have one displayed that was draped over my Grandfather's casket when he died in 1983 (he was an Army Engineer and blew up bridges is Germany). My mom asked me if there was anything I wanted from my Grandmother's house when she passed 3 years ago (aged 94) and I said the only thing I wanted was that flag, so I too got it for Christmas when my whole family visited shit-hole Mass. from Kentucky!

I prefer the First Navy Jack to the Gadsden. The yellow color just just strikes me as wrong.
