They would have been. Infact, I saw a show on the History Channel (I think). They showed there during WWII there were anti-war protestors (albeit not many), but you never heard about protests back then, did you? NO ONE came out and demanded that we get out of the war back then. Not if they wanted to stay in public office, or be a popular celeb. They were called commies and socialists and basically spit on and/or ignored. Too bad some things change...
