The message is they don't give a rats ass about the 2nd and want to use the deaths of children to change it...

I sent a little note to Tom...

The message is that if we allow citizens to own guns, then children will be murdered in school, and if we don't, they won't. Seems clear enough to me.

The irony, which they'd never admit, is that the cartoon would work every bit as well if they replaced the 2nd Amendment by the 4th, 5th, 6th or 8th. The world could be a much safer place if we didn't have to concern ourselves with "technicalities" such as warrants, probable cause, due process, double jeopardy, public trials, counsel for the defense, or (my favorite) cruel and unusual punishment. Of course that assume that we have and always will have a benevolent and omniscient dictator, in which case I can't really see the need for the 1st Amendment they like to prattle on about, or any of the rest of the Constitution for that matter. Until I get that guarantee, I'm keeping my damn guns.

It's called dancing in the blood of the victims for your own personal agenda.
The scumbag antis do it like clockwork every time it happens in one of the
victim disarmament zones that they created. Otherwise they would have to
explain why no one had the ability to prevent this in this day and age.

Any letters to these people will fall on deaf ears. The Miami Herald tries to
outdo the LA Times, NY Times and Washington Post.

The irony of course is that the media scum that comes up
with these cartoons constantly ignores the fact that-

Their right, to have shitty political cartoons, was guaranteed IN BLOOD
by a bunch of men with GUNS who were shooting at the government
with the end goal being to SECURE that right for themselves and for
future generations.

The media, and the general publc, doesn't seem to be able to accept
and acknowledge that. They ignore it as an "anachronism. " I'd
like to believe that the founding of the greatest nation in the world
is not a $%#$% anachronism!

They can't HANDLE THE TRUTH that america was founded by a bunch
of domestic INSURGENTS who were shooting at the in-power GOVERNMENT
that was trying to take their rights away. It's simply unfathomable
to them.

I think he was trying to say that if the law hadn't destroyed the teacher's second amendment right to carry, those children would still be alive.

I sent them an email. I took that as the worst anti cartoon I've ever seen. I haven't seen anything that low class until now.
