I have a box that my Dillon 550B was packed in when it was returned from refurbishing.
Anyone thinking of doing the same and want it? I'm in Northern Norfolk County near
the intersection of 128/9. All you have to do is come and get it.

Just sent mine in about a month ago......could have used the right packaging. A very nice offer. I also have a vacant box available if someone needs one on or near the Cape.

My 550b is working perfectly.
However, since this forum also acts as a compendium of knowledge, how did you guys send the machines back for refurbishing?

UPS?

USPS??

FedEx?

Sent mine via UPS Duke. The cost was $40 something including insurance. What I got back was well worth the $40 something though. It's virtually a new machine.

Sent mine by Fedex ground. Cost me $38.27 after I put insurance on it. I wouldn't send anything by Fedex Ground
unless it was insured. My experience is the same as dustoffs. The only thing that didn't get changed out was the frame
and one of the lever bars. Primer slides, primer tube assy, three new powder tubes and one new powder bar slide along
with powder bar slide bushings, etc. Even painted the frame in a couple of places. If only they had a fix for the GD primer
catcher. Maybe it will work better now that most of the other parts are new. Looks better than new and tight as a drum.

The fee for rehabbing a 550B is ~$48. That includes everything, including return shipping. My unit is over 26 years old.
