Dicks Sporting Goods Now Matches Online Prices For Ammo

Agree, but any one of those above groups with a shooter as a member is probably being influenced to shop elsewhere. I use to like their fishing and camping section, am a “crunchie” kayaker but will only enter their store to use the bathroom. I will never spend a cent in their store again. Dicks can EABOD.

Leaving a really nice bowl ringer sounds like a great idea.

I'd ball up horse turds and use them for spitballs before I'd buy ammo from Dicks...

Be sure to blow instead of suck. LOL

Funny aside: We have a neighbor at the lake that can be a pain sometimes. He was a few months ago. His name is Dick.

My son is 10. One day in the car. "Dad. Why do you call Mr. Schwartz 'dick?' That isn't nice."

After a good chuckle, I had to explain that before it was a body part, it was A NAME! He never knew. He thought we were being massively disrespectful calling him Dick to his face. LOL

How many people here are dogging OP for doing business with Dicks ? Yet gladly throw their money to Amazon/Bezos who has a lot more political influence than Dicks ?

Absolutely true and I agree......however, it's tough to purchase items from a store thats not liberal. You'd probably have to go to the end of the earth for your search. Odds are most of them are liberal backed in some form or other. In most cases I choose Wal Mart over Amazon.......next thing I know some Ahole will tell me how Wal Mart is anti 2A, wiht some obscure reference off the internet....... Well, where else am I gonna go for a notebook or pack of pens, or toilet paper. WTF.

We know Dicks sucks Dicks and there are plenty of other places like Target Sports, etc that don't go out and get anti 2A people to legislate against us.....This boycott is worth it IMHO.

Bezos will blow himself up all by his onesy. Dick's needs a push. That's teh difference.

(Amazon is grossly overpriced on its' stock. What will come out in teh next 5 years or so are SEVERAL anti-trust lawsuits against it once the bloom is off the rose for them. Bezos and Musk are in a world of hurt in the future - Bezos for far more because it won't just result in financial problems but legal ones as well. You can't put THAT many places out of business and think you are immune. Look at their income statement. They lose money on the vast majority of what they sell in order to gain market share. Tell me that's legal.)

I was surprised Silver City lasted so many rounds of Sears closings. Not shocked it's going. That means ZERO anchor stores in the Galleria. Outside of the banging movie theater and the bowling/entertainment complex, there is NO reason to go there. BestBuy pulled out. I think they stilll may have Vickie's Secret. . . for now.

I was at Emerald City last week. Gosh I hate that mall. Too small, too tall. 3 floors is just dumb. But at least it's mostly-filled. And it's about 10min further away than Silver City, so I won't miss SCG if it goes belly-up. (But I will miss the movie theater.)

Mall of New Hampshire, yow.

The first Saturday after I started my post-college job,
my housemates and I drove up from Hudson, MA to buy a big TV
(well, at Lechmere; but let that go).

MoNH was a happenin' place.

We were there mid-evening one recent weekend,
and tumbleweeds were blowing.

Pheasant Lane must choke off a load of PRM business coming up the Everett.

Then again, Rockingham Mall is the other Sears closure,
and that diverts all the I-93 shoppers; go figure.

Taunton mall lost Best Buy when they tried to raise their rent when the lease was up. Best Buy told them to go pound sand. This was also when the casino was still a green light. And the Taunton sears was actually seeing a decent boost in sales after the Swansea store closed. They were holding out hope that someone (probably grocery) would be interested in leasing one of the floors off them.

I’m up in the Saratoga, NY area and stopped at Dick’s to buy some 30gn & 50gn Pyrodex pellets. They have guns and ammo but the chain has stopped selling muzzleloaders and powder at stores connected to malls. Too easy to buy a pressure cooker at Sears and make a bomb, I guess...

I walked into Dicks to check out a new driver (I dont buy anything there, just waste their time and then order it online or go to golf warehouse in NH)...Anyway, the front of the store was nothing but YETI coolers. I guess they might be hurting there too.

Has anyone seen the Dick’s tv commercials w Kurt Warner promoting Yeti coolers? I never heard of Yeti coolers before the Dick’s kerfuffle and now they’re featured in a major sports retailer national TV commercial?

And they’re selling 5.56? They destroyed their stock of evil guns but still selling the evil Ammo? Someone should alert the SJWs about that, they’ll lose their minds. It’ll be fun watching Dick’s explain that 5.56 ammo has applications other than killing as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time.

So...Dicks'll start selling powder again once Sears is done imploding?

No. The powder is a "bomb making" ingredient, remember?

But if the pressure cookers are Kenmore
(or are they Craftsman? It's hard to keep the players straight),
won't the home-grown terrorists be thwarted?

So Dick's will get you through times of no Sears,
better than Sears will get you through times of no Dick's?

Dick’s in Keene, NH on the drive home - just pick jars of powder off the shelf and head to the front checkout. PITA to drive down the road to Sears for a pressure cooker but if you’re a committed terrorist...

Sears was politically correct, even back in the '60's.
They called a whole line of clothes "Husky" because "Fatty" was too mean...

I asked them that very question re matching price in ammo. They said, absolutely not. Nashua NH store as well as Salem NH. Didn't buy anything, was just curious.
