I don't want my post to sound high and mighty about this whole thing but I just think any program that gets a kid into fishing where he can spend some time outdoors and out of trouble is something I think shouldn't be scammed.
I spent a lot of time on the water when I was in my late teens and early 20s and can't help but think if I'd have gotten into fishing sooner that I wouldn't have gotten into half the shit I did when I was younger.
Better a kid on the shore with a fishing pole in his hand than him breaking the law and running from the cops because he had nothing better to do than hang around with punk kids in his neighborhood.
