DEVELOPING: Mass Shooting Reported In City of Dordrecht In The Netherlands - Breaking911

There was a massive police response to a reported shooting in the city of Dordrecht Monday.

According to local media, at least three people have been killed and more were wounded.


It was unclear if a suspect was in custody. A motive was not known.

Three dead in shooting in Dutch city of Dordrecht: Police

Three people have been killed in the Dutch city of Dordrecht, police said on Monday.

An investigation has been launched, police added in a tweet, without giving any details as to where the incident took place.

Dutch broadcaster NOS said the shooting was at a home and that emergency services were at the scene.

Dordrecht Mayor Wouter Kolff said on social media that he sympathises with all those involved in the "very serious incident" and that he visit the scene of the shooting later tonight.

THREE people have been shot dead and a fourth seriously injured in a shooting at a home in the Dutch city of Dordrecht, police have said.

Police sources said a Dutch police officer shot and killed two family members before turning the gun on himself.




A fourth relative was seriously hurt, the source said.

An official police statement said: "Three people were killed in the shooting incident in Dordrecht's Heimerstein (neighbourhood). One person was seriously injured."


Emergency response teams were at the scene and a home in the neighbourhood had been cordoned off.

Dordrecht Mayor Wouter Kolff said on Twitter there had been "a very serious shooting incident" and that he was heading to the scene.
