Has anybody had any experience, with the DESERT TECH, TREK-22 - 10/22 BULL-PUP

DESERT TECH - Tomorrow's Weapons <--link

UPDATE 02/13/23
I ended up buying a gray one and really like it.
I posted a pic and description in the
February 2023 Recent Acquisitions

UPDATE #2 - 02/16/23 I installed a Volquartsen Hammer Kit & Bolt Release which was $27 including shipping which I ended up
putting a post on the DEALS section. It dropped the trigger pull to about 1/2. Slightly better than a BX-trigger at 1/3 the cost.

I never cared for the 10/22, but this got my interest.

Now, Desert Tech the company…. The owner is a numbered senior member of a cultish sect of Mormons who subjugate women and kids that involves forced marriages and intimidation.

It has prevented me from picking up an MDR-X, even though I’m also intrigued by that.

I've had my eye on these for a while. I love the small size, but the drawback is that it has to be disassembled to get to the 10/22 for cleaning. The rail on top stays with one half, so optics don't have to be removed, but I'd still be concerned about the zero wandering each time the rifle is removed from the stock. Probably not bad enough to worry when about plinking tin cans at less than 50 yards, though.
