The last one of the year. The Colt Competition is the probably the last series with real rollmarks. The Novak rear sight cut is a limiting factor without welding but worked for this client. All the usual suspects and features. I do like the rear cocking serrations for a change. The lines of this series are pretty straight and fit is very close. The EGW .245 radius grip safety allowed for a better fit since the factory tried to cut a .250, I don't know what part they used for the GS but is was gappy and allowed me to fit the EGW closely. Glenn Dean is making the case for display at SHOT in January. Sorry for the oil streaks in the photos, it's lubed up for storage and travel.

That is beautiful.

Every time @Greg Derr posts a gun I question my no .45 policy, I'm trying to keep the number of different calibers to a minimum.
