I don't know much about the grease gun conversion but I know that the resale value of them is not good. I did the ump conversion and I love it. I know when doing the ump conversion you have to have 3 USA made parts to be 922r compliant. The guys on hkpro.com are very helpful and there is a lot of information there that would probably answer any questions you have. Feel free yo pm me with any questions also
