There were quite a lot of questions asked by at least five of the reps that did not support the bill. There were some agreement points on various parts of the bill from Goal and others and a suggestion of separating the mental health and the 2ed amendment points into separate bills. It sucked to have to listen to a bunch of SEIU teachers try to attach their failed mental health bill to the gun control bill. They never talked about the gun bill at hand.
If I learned anything I learned if you want to talk early you need to make up some group name and bring 5, 6 hell seven people up to speak for a couple of minutes each. Groups went first. Some of the groups were just friends that made a group.
Like The Liberty Alliance, I think I heard.

Can someone get a list of the Reps that talked that were for the bill so we can all pound them with calls?

It was a very long day. Just shy of 12 hours there. It seemed the reps were very receptive of the points so many of us made. The pro-bill folks didn't have much in the way if facts to back themselves up. All in all it seemed to be a positive for us.

It was great to see so many great Americans at the hearing today. Keep up the pressure. It is having a positive effect..
It was very nice to see so many people point out that they had 2 or perhaps 3 bills smashed into one and the "right" thing to do was break them up and let the bigoted gun crap die on the floor while the school safety and mental health needed work, but could, by some miracle be hammered into something nearly useful if broken out into their own bills.

I doubt they will do this, it makes too much sense, but it was good for successive people to remind them.

Thanks Blitz, and thanks to everyone who showed up today. I think we have a good chance at this if we keep the pressure on.
And Blitz, Bullets, beef and beer. How is that not a religious organization you could follow?
Add busty babes and I'm in.

Is that the same smile she'd wear if 5 thugs whopped her in an alley for her purse while everyone else stood around unarmed and just called 911 instead, because guns were outlawed in MA, and no one had the balls to rush the guard who had dual machetes, and the clean-up-crew (I mean cops...) were 5 minutes away?

The motion was put up for more hearings on this. It was shot down. I'll bet they will try and push it though at the last hour. Like somebody else mentioned here.

This guy blew them away. Honestly, the way he opened I thought he was going to be anti. He should have been on earlier in the day with the "expert" testimony. He had far more numbers and facts than anybody, and obviously only a moonbat could disagree with his thorough analysis.

One of the antis pulled him out into the lobby after he was done, I'd love to know what was said out there.
The anti was just salivating at the thought of gun death chart porn and needed a fix.

As I said in a previous post:
WATCH OUT FOR THESE BASTARDS that they don't try to ram it through - intact - on Thursday afternoon, July 3rd, when the entire state is in "get home for the pre-party" or "get on the highway early to beat the beach crowd!!" mode....

Keep the pressure on them, keep calling and tell EVERYONE YOU KNOW to do so also. This way if they try to pull a fast one they'll know they are being watched on this!!
And remind everyone you know of how, should these regulations and restrictions pass, THEY might be the next "poor unlucky soul" in Arlington or anywhere else, defenseless, violently raped by the released Level 3 sex offender who broke into her quiet home....
Maybe she didn't want (or think she needed) a gun.
But if you DO, these State House bast*rds will be allowed to restrict you or your wife even FURTHER from lawfully defending themselves.

KEEP THE PRESSURE ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. Those Grandmas look like they are out on the town ready to play a nice game of bingo. Is this their retirement hobby?
Yeah, more or less it is. [thinking] Beware of lonely old grannies. Honestly, they'll do, say or support anything moonbatty for a little day trip.

I thought there were no signs allowed? Nobody pointed out those crusty old chickens with the big friggin Moms sign? Lame.
This pisses me off to no end. The crazy old moonbat ladies always get away with breaking the rules all the time and everywhere. Apparently, there are certain advantages to being old and wrinkly.
