Took my camera to the range to document the death of a pumpkin, close up.

Weapon: S/W Victory, .38 special, delivered to Mare Island, CA, on 7/7/1943
Ammo Liberty SD, 50gr, hollow point, 1500fps

Damage doesn't look too bad from the outside, but the pumpkin was eviscerated. Surprise special feature on the last shot (#19), as I was using my U.S. Military shoulder holster with a 13 round bandolier.

Tried to video a second execution of a large, 8 pound or so, basketball size pumpkin today. Used the Inland M1 Carbine and Hornady SD ammo. Unfortunately the second shot was low in the meat of the pumpkin shell and it hopped three inches in the air and rolled out of view of the camera. I pumped 45 rounds into it and turned it into paste. Nasty round. I may have to try again.
