I'm the new guy (previous lurker) on the block, and this thread motivated me to register so that I could post. The mindset of those who would take us to task just don't understand. They would find any opportunity to condem our use of firearms, and would latch on to any figure we might post on the billboard clock. Better that we work with the pols who share our blief in the 2nd amend. and not be "in the face of" the typical "Ma**h***."

As an aside ... I have a 21 year old son who shares my firearms mindset. I have said to him that his future abilty to have access to arms will depend on his generation's abilty to counter the populist mindeset of those who would turn us into "subjects" rather that "citizens."

Well put. All of us need to take an active roll in this (and all of our govt), particularly the younger of us. We need the training or we'll find ourselves polliticly flat footed when it comes time to take the reigns.

Politics was never discussed in our house. Good for you for training your kids to be involved.
