DCR property firearms

No person shall have possession of or discharge any firearm or pellet gun in violation of the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth

I will ignore the discharge part. The rule is no person "shall have possession of and firearm" and ends with "in violation of the laws and regulations of the Commonwealth"

So this means possession is legal as long as you are MA legal?
Is this like a sign that says "no illegal guns"? well of course no illegal guns here.

If you are not breaking state firearm laws you are good. You can hunt on a lot of DCR property.

They have been a**h***s in the past. Temporary signs of stupidity went up and a ban was proposed a few years back.
