Parkland gun control activist David Hogg believes the gun control lobby can succeed in restricting the Second Amendment if everyone will come together and target guns the way anti-tobacco activists targeted cigarettes.

Hogg was interviewed by CBS News on February 12, where he talked of how gun rights groups such as the NRA have often appeared unbeatable. But he believes the gun control lobby can succeed by taking cues from the anti-tobacco movement.

Couple of thoughts.

- Show me where tobacco use is a CIVIL RIGHT. I’ll wait David.
- Gun control impacts the poor and vulnerable. This was the intention not a byproduct. It’s much harder to lynch a armed black man.
- “Inner city” violence will continue with or without guns. You’re don’t want to confront the real causes David.
- David Hogg is a whiney little bitch who was an opportunist and was never a victim.
-David, when your usefulness is over you’ll be abandoned and live the rest of your life alone and you deserve it.

The left targeted tobacco by raising taxes, and those taxes affected the poorest and most vulnerable people, while doing nothing to improve their lot vice tobacco.

So yeah: I believe he wants to use the same tactic against guns, with the same result.

The guy got into Harvard with a 1270 SAT score lol. And now is worth about 1.5 to 2 mil already. When the Parkland shooting happened he wasn't even at school and rushed there to vlog about it cause he knew that was the golden opportunity and best thing to happen to him.

His parents work for the government, I think it was the fbi?

he represents generation that outright declines any rights concepts. socialist society does not have rights, it has obligations. your interests are secondary behind interests of the collective.
and interests of the collective are defined by the leaders of the ruling party. it is that simple.

Plus, it took a few years, but the market adapted and I would say has become even more effective by selling vape to younger people.

Meh, it’s just another reptile thread. Doesn’t matter how many times you tell someone to stop giving these clowns attention, they just need to post something for the sake of posting.

David Hogg is NOT anally retentive, but I sure bet he is anally receptive!

Don't worry I sense a prolapsed anus death in his future.

Very true.. What made me quit was when Deval raised the tax $1.00 per pack to help fund the MBTA pensions... Not the threat of cancer and all the other diseases associated with tobacco, no.. It took a tax to fund a pension for someone that will make more than me when they are retired than I am making while I am working for me to quit lol

Sad story, but very true :(

Dear Mr Hogg,
All of us here on this forum are as much a "Parkland survivor" as you are.
But seeing as Reptile is infatuated with posting crap stories about your gay butt s_x articles
We have had enough of this crap and have had to resort to our most drastic measure.
Effective immediately we are reinstating the negative feedback into our otherwise flawless rating system.
Rest easy tonight for men willing to do bad things on your behalf have done their job once again instead of sitting on their ass benefiting from the deaths of others.

Sincerly
Sh_t poster 99.

Interesting. Cigarettes were never banned but use has dropped dramatically over the last 30 years.

I think the left may be coming to the realization that with the current makeup of SCOTUS, Bruen etc they are never going to be successful banning anything. Time to shift to a new game plan.

As FalArAk put it, he only stopped using cigs when it was cost prohibitive.

What's to stop the left from levying a sky high tax on guns, ammo, reloading supplies, parts etc? They do it with alcohol, why not anything associated firearms.? Make it cost prohibitive....

How does he get any air time at all??? Even if he was FOR our side, he still looks like a smarmy kid that would say anything to get on television.

I thought this guy wasn't even there. Is there any proof that he was?
He is only taking this stance to increase his popularity.
Just another sheep.

He wasn’t there. He rode his bike back to the school and now we are forced to listen (or in the current example shit all over him and his lies) every time he thinks he’s important.
