Every time I don't go to a car shoot, the car catches on fire.

EVERY. TIME.

This one was fire truck worthy. So the FD came and told us that we couldn't just burn a car whenever we wanted. Tires, upholstery, etc. there was a decently billowing smoke cloud for a while there.

And it started only moments after Atilla complained that he hadn't see a car fire recently.

A little fire.

Here's the 3 videos I took back to back.

When the hood got blown off, a big part of it ended up 70 feet up in a tree.

Also there was a pretty big chunk of the car that must have got over everyone's heads and the tents unnoticed. It was found next to a parked car.

Looks like a blast was had by all (pun intended in every sense of the word). I haven't been able to make the last two car shoots...hopefully next year...

Looks like it was a good time, wish I could have swung by.

Did they leave the car up there? If so I'll have to try and swing by during the week and punch a few more holes into it.

It will be around for a while ...though keep an eye on the Club's Event Calendar ...I will be updating it on a moment-by-moment basis. We are working on-the-range this coming week, and access may be affected to some degree. Though by shifting the zero line forward thereby shortening the range (effectively placing all other activity behind the zero line) to the big berm (where the LeSabre is) should still be open during regular range hours. However, the 50 yard berm area will not be in use because of said facility-improvement activities.
