Seem to be harder to find than hen's teeth. [thinking]

Want one for my DD upper - which shoots like a dream.

I've checked all my known sources, nobody's got any.

Where can I find one ?

Can you call a local shop and see if they can order one direct for you? I've gone that route in the past and it ended up being cheaper than I expected.

Did a quick search on Gunbroker.com. They list a few NEW lowers. Not sure they are the exact ones you want...but it's something.

Here's an example: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=258969562
Daniel Defense M4/AR15 5.56x45mm Complete Lower, New. This Daniel Defense Lower is equipped with a six position mil-spec buffer tube, H (heavy) buffer, Magpul MOE collapsible stock, pistol grip, Magpul enhanced trigger guard, Daniel Defense Receiver Plate with QD (quick detach) point for a sling, mil-spec trigger, bolt release, magazine release, and front/rear take down pins. Daniel Defense is no longer selling their lower receivers separately. Buyer to pay a flat rate of $ 20.00 for shipping via UPS, within continental US. Postal money orders, cashier's checks/certified funds, and personal checks accepted for payment. Please know any laws and/or ordinances in your area that would prohibit or restrict ownership of this lower prior to bidding. I am not a Dealer; upon sale of this item, I will take it to my FFL Dealer to ship to Buyer's FFL Dealer. My Dealer does not ship firearms (this item is classified as a firearm) to California, and will ship this item to any other state this it is not prohibited in. Buyer is expected to contact me within five days of end of auction to make payment arrangements. I reserve the right to end this auction, at any time, should no bids be present. If you have any questions, please contact me at [email protected] or at 770-354-8063. Thank you for looking, and good luck bidding!

You should jump on one, since according to that excerpt quoted above, it appears they will no longer be available from DD separately anymore!

If I can remember we're I saw another one I'll pm ya gotta jump on those hard to find goodies fast lol. I missed an upper lower set from Noveske for $200 bucks cause I waited two day :-( owner said he'd be restocked an two weeks, that was seven months ago :-( still out of stock!

That'd do it, but I don't think it has one.

The G&R Tactical post just says DD LPK. The DD LPK sells for about $80.00 around the net.

That puts the bare lower at billet prices.

If I read that right it comes with no "stock" but the receiver extension spring and buffer and end plate are installed so it's more than lower and a lower parts kit.

So...
$430 minus 80.00 for LPK, minus 50.00 for buffer and spring = $300.00.

$300 mins about 150.00 (premium price for a forged lower) ... leaves $150.00 for assembly labor (too much).

Note profit is built into each price.

My point was it not just a lower and parts kit. Show me another place that has them that will ship them to an FFL here to Ma. For some items you will pony up a little extra if there hard to find. Cost of living in this turd hole state.

I get the supply and demand thing.

My perspective on price is always based on what I'd be willing to pay, rather than the reasons why somebody might overcharge.
