My 2014 F150 wouldn’t start two weeks ago. Turned out my 3 month old battery from Ford dealer developed internal short. They tested battery and gave me a new one. Working fine since. Hope yours is that easy.
Me too, been googling this and there are owners who have had it happen multiple times with no resolution.

My son's Accord died Tuesday night in front of the house. Ending runs but won't move. I bought it from an NESer too. You'd think it would have made it to 180,000 miles before blowing a CV joint. (Not naming the seller cus some of youse don't have a sense of humor)

Good news is that it only took two hours from the time I called the tow truck until I got a call from the shop that it was fixed. I guess they didn't have anything else to do.

At least you could sand the points and spray a little wd40 in the cap and it would run enough to get you home.
I remember my dad showing me how to use the striker on a book of matches to file the points and the matchbook cover to set the gap. You could set it at about. .035 and be up and running.

...and be able to tune by ear. My first car was a 72 Ford Ltd and when I had a problem my dad told me to go to the library and get a Chilton's manual, it was invaluable advice.

At least the mirror didn’t fall off.

As usual, I remember the old days. Too much choke, not enough choke, pump the pedal, carb flooded, roll it down a hill, get a push, etc. Jack.
Had more than one with a pull out choke.
One thing I don't miss is the floor button for the hight beams.
Had a couple damn near burn the trucks down when they got wet and shorted out.

Is this 1500 or 2500??

I am in market for new truck, almost pulled the trigger twice on 2500HD, but under fierce protest walked out 2x. I’m a regular guy, don’t blow smoke up my ass. Very glad I didn’t pull the trigger right now!! I’m getting blown up with all these 0% for 84 months and no payments for 120 days offers....

I want an American truck, but I’m considering a tundra 😞

By the tundra if you don't need a 2500. I have a three year old is the biggest piece of s*** I've owned. That said I'll probably get another one this year. I never learn😔

I wouldn't buy a GM product with a 84 month loan, because it will very likely shit the bed before it's paid for.

My Yukon died at 49 months. Like engine shit the bed died. The spread out payment won't help if it's a paperweight

I just sold my 2004 2500hd two months ago for 5g, it had some/lots of rust but drove great. All the creature comforts were going south.

I don’t necessarily NEED a 2500 but I do tow toys and other crap and plow, so 2500 is better. My brothers 1500 had major issues before 100k. My friends Denali 1500 had major issues in the 60-70k mile range. I do t trust them. I trust the 6.0 and old lazy tranny. I drive a 2018 3500 gasser 6.0 daily for work, I trust it.

I think (hope) he's just saying that right now there are also sorts of crazy offers advertising these 0%, 84 month 'deals', not that he's considering an 84 month loan. Because nobody should ever finance any vehicle for 84 months.

Or it will most certainly rust out from under you. GM has the worst quality automotive bodies made.
