I have a CZ with a small chip in the beavertail. Before I make it worse has anyone touched up their CZ's polycoat successfully?

Haven’t done it myself, but on one forum someone posted that nail polish worked well

I have tried matte black spray paint (spray onto a plate so that it liquid and then dab it on with a toothpick).

the epoxy coat actually goes on fairly thick to hide imperfections in the frame. So I would think that nail polish would work well. You probably don't want gloss.

Nail polish is removed with acetone, so if you do touch it up, be careful of what you use to clean the gun afterwards.

@Reader I'm trying to send you a DM but it won't let me. Can you check your settings?

Apologies for the off-topic thread bump to everyone else reading this...
